What I'm working on...

Last week I was babysitting Niki's kidlets while she was still in school.  So while the kiddos were playing away I was hard at work!

First on the list is finishing up a customized life planner for Courtney, a winner of a giveaway that we recently sponsored on another blog. It's adorable! And while making Courtney's planner I decided that our life planner could use a little update for the next year too. So I made up a list of ideas that I'm toying around with.

We are also thinking about updating a few of the "sets" in the shop. We are thinking the budget documents first. So we are doing a little planning and figuring out what has worked best for us and adjusting them accordingly. And maybe some fun new colors and layouts too??

What changes or updates would you like to see? Any new documents we should create? Something we should add or change on our life planner??

A few of our favorites...

Since I am in swamped, crazy prom palooza mode this week, I'm going project free this week. But I am going to take a few minutes and share a few of our organizing and crafting favorites.

1. Papermate Flair Markers. They are our absolute fave. We use them for everything!! Our planners, calendars, cards, grocery list, labels, and much more!

2. Scotch Thermal Laminator. We both have our own of these bad boys. We do all of our own laminating except for planner covers that we do in super thick 10mil laminating. We both got ours at WalMart for around $30. We get our laminating sheets at Sam's Club in the jumbo packs, so it's really pretty budget friendly.

3. Washi Tape. This is a recent favorite. We were a little slow to jump on the washi bandwagon, but now I love it and use it every chance I get. I have found it Target, WalMart, a few craft stores, and there's tons of options on Etsy!

4. Pretty Binders. We really like the "GreenRoom" brand from Target. They are sturdy and pretty. double win.

Those are just a few of our favorite, go-to items. We also keep a plethora of storage containers for all sorts of shapes and sizes on hands from several different stores. The Dollar Tree is one of our faves for organizing on a budget. 

We have also been known to hoard post-its, tabs, and binder clips. It's totally normal right??

a few etsy updates

We have been slowly working on updating and adding new products to our etsy shop. Any whim we have basically gets made into a product for you! And so we thought it was time to talk a little bit about our new products.

We have added custom checkbook covers to the shop. We have both had our own for about a year now, so why not add them to the shop? duh. They are ah-dor-able! Here's one we made for our momma...

And the teacher planner got an awesome new updated look! I love it. and its just in time for teacher's to get their orders in for next year!! wa-hoo! These babies come bound with a 10 mil laminated cover- making them durable enough to pop in your bag and go back and forth!

We have also made some super cheery cleaning checklists. If we must clean, it might as well be on a cute checklist right? Make one for each room, or a one list for the whole house. Just send us which cleaning tasks you need on your checklist.

And how about a wardrobe inventory? Need to get your clothing stash in line? or figure out the status of your kids' clothes? What do you need to purchase in a bigger size?? Snag up your own clothing inventory to do just that! Great to fill out during your spring cleaning! We have a couple different layouts of this inventory available...

Hate trying to muddle through the grocery store with a list scratched out on the back of an envelope? Grab one of these cuties to help you get through the store like a whiz! A grocery list customized to the things that you buy regularly! A space for checking it off the list after you put it in the cart, and a space to mark how many of each you need. Couldn't be simpler. 

Have a hard time keeping track of your tasks to do today? Forget who you need to call back?  Grab these cheery list up and keep your days in order. Or go eco-friendly and laminate and re-use with a wet or dry erase marker.
